PH extends sympathy to UAE on death of President Sheikh Khalifa

The Department of Foreign Affairs extended sympathy to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after the passing of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Friday, May 13. 

In a statement, DFA remembered Khalifa’s legacy in making UAE a “global economic powerhouse through steering its people with wisdom and tolerance.”

“His highness’ legacy has secured a bright future for his country’s future generation,” DFA said.

Khalifa served the UAE for 18 years as president from 2004.
