Ople vows justice for slain OFW in Kuwait

Department of Migrant Worker (DMW) Secretary Susan Ople vowed on Monday, Jan. 23, justice for an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) who was killed in Kuwait.

Ople also expressed condolences to the family of Jullebee Ranara, 35, an OFW from Kuwait.

Ranara’s death was reported by the Kuwait media on Sunday.

Ople assured Ranara’s family that DMW will provide them with the necessary assistance and support and vowed to bring the OFW’s death to justice.

Ople said DMW is awaiting the official incident report from Kuwait while closely monitoring the case’s development alongside the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

DFA is also coordinating with the Kuwaiti authorities, according to Ople. – gb
