Marcos said Benjamin Diokno will be his finance secretary, while Felipe Medalla will serve as the governor of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas to replace Diokno.

Fred Pascual will lead the Department of Trade and Industry, and Manny Bonoan will head the Department of Public Works and Highways. Former Davao del Norte Rep. Anton Lagdameo will serve as the special assistant to the president.

The soon-to-be head of state said many tried to apply to head the Department of Customs and Bureau of Internal Revenue.

No names have been mentioned yet regarding other government agencies, such as the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Information and Communications Technology.

Marcos Jr. has already named some of his appointees prior to his proclamation.

Cavite Rep. Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla will serve as the justice secretary, and Susan “Toots” Ople will take the post as the secretary for migrant workers.
