Luzon grid under yellow alert

By Gabriela Baron

The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) placed the Luzon grid under yellow alert on Monday, Nov. 28.

NGCP said the Luzon grid will be on yellow alert from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

A yellow alert indicates low electricity supply.

The corporation said some areas in Luzon may still experience brownouts due to insufficient electricity supply.

Earlier, the Luzon grid was placed under red alert.
