Dive yacht sinks off Palawan waters; 4 missing

A dive yacht sank off Tubbataha, Palawan waters on Sunday, April 30, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) reported.

According to PCG, M/Y Dream Keeper sank around 6:49 a.m. Four persons remain missing.

The dive yacht departed from San Remegio in Cebu City on April 27 around 4:00 p.m. and arrived at Tubbataha Reef at about 10:00 p.m. Saturday.

Search and rescue (SAR) operations are underway.

The joint SAR team from different agencies, units, and organizations rescued 28 people.

There were a total of 32 individuals on board the yacht, of the number, 15 were crew members, 12 were passengers or guests, and five were dive masters. – cf
