Cessna 206 plane missing in Isabela

A six-seater Cessna 206 plane was declared missing Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 24, in the Province of Isabela.

The Cessna, with a tail number RPC 1174, took off at 2:15 p.m. and was expected to land at around 3:30 p.m. at the coastal town of Maconacon.

According to the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (RDRRMC), the plane’s location was last determined in some parts of Naguilian, Isabela.

Citing reports from residents, RDRRMC said a loud explosion was heard in Barangay Sapinit in Divilacan, Isabela.
